  • What show will you miss most?

Jason is joined by Jason Hughes (@ultraversion21) and Joel Keller (@joelkeller) from the Antenna Free TV Podcast (@antennafreetv) for this segment. We talked big names returning to comedy, the terrible comedies, comedies that were poorly treated by their network, the reversal of fortune of a couple FOX comedies, why some comedies get shelved, and closed with some long running comedies that came to an end.

We also mentioned the Bill Lawrence and Kevin Biegel interviews Jason and Joel did over at Antenna Free.

We talked new dramas The Blacklist and Sleepy Hollow and returning favorites The Good Wife and Scandal by answering the following six questions:

  • What do you think it was about The Blacklist that kept the audience coming back all season?
  • What did you think when you first heard about Sleepy Hollow? And, then once you saw it?
  • What were some of your favorite parts/scenes from Sleepy Hollow?
  • Do you think The Good Wife should be considered in the “prestige drama” category and not just as the “best drama on broadcast?”
  • What were some of your favorite parts/scenes from The Good Wife S.5?
  • We are three seasons, 47 episodes and about a like billion twists into Scandal after this past season. How long do you think it can go before it burns itself out?

Jason is joined by Andrea Towers (@atvgeek82) from Confessions of a TV Geek and EW.com and Laurel Brown (@DocBrown_TV) from Zap2It.com for this segment. We talked about Arrow and Marvel’s Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D. by answering the following five questions:

  • How excited were you for Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD when you first heard about it and why?
  • Do you think having to wait for the big reveal in Captain America: The Winter Soldier hurt the show?
  • What do you think of Agents of SHIELD now and how excited are you for season two?
  • How would you compare Arrow S.2 to S.1?
  • Why do you think more people aren’t watching Arrow?

  • What did you think when you first heard about the Once Wonderland idea?
  • Once you got a chance to see Once Wonderland, what did you think about how it started, where it went and how it compared quality and story-wise with Once Upon a time?
  • Do you think Once Wonderland would’ve had a better shot of continuing had ABC stuck with their original plan to air it between half seasons of Once Upon a Time on Sunday nights?
  • What did you think about the third season of Once Upon a Time as compared to previous seasons?
  • We’ve visited the Enchanted Forest, Neverland, Wonderland and Oz. Is there another fairytale land or characters you’d like to see show up on Once Upon a Time?

2013-14 TV Season – Reality Check Recap (02:53:40)

Jason is joined once again by Amrie and Kyle to talk about some of the reality and competition shows from the past TV season. We started out by talking a bit about the season finales of the latest seasons of The Amazing Race and Survivor and then answered the following five questions:

  • Was there a new reality/competition show you really enjoyed?
  • What was the worst new reality/competition show you watched?
  • Was there a reality/competition show you gave up on or will be giving up on after this season?
  • The X Factor has been canceled and American Idol ratings continue to flag, do you think even given the pretty good performance of The Voice that singing competitions have run their course for now?
  • What was the best reality/competition show you watched this past season?
