Cable Fall TV Preview (00:14:25)

We talked about the 2013 Cable Fall TV Schedule starting with Sunday and moving through to Saturday and gave premiere dates. We talked about a few of the new shows that we’ve seen, but mainly went over which shows we are planning on watching and are looking forward to having back.

  • Sunday – We mentioned Psych: The Musical, returning shows Drop Dead Diva, Homeland, The Walking Dead and more, and talked a bit about new shows Witches of East End and Masters of Sex. (00:08:45)
  • Monday – We mentioned returning show Major Crimes. (00:15:19)
  • Tuesday – We mentioned the Pretty Little Liars Halloween episode, returning shows Awkward., Sons of Anarchy and more, and talked a bit about new show Ravenswood. (00:16:53)
  • Wednesday – We mentioned returning shows American Horror Story: Coven, South Park and more and new show Mob City. (00:21:09)
  • Thursday – We mentioned returning shows Covert Affairs, White Collar and more and new comedy Ground Floor. (00:24:47)

Amrie briefly talked about Project Runway, America’s Next Top Model and Survivor, and then Jason joined in to talk about The Great Food Truck Race.

TV on DVD Picks for Releases on Tuesday, October 1st (01:07:55)

Amrie picked Wings – The Complete First and Second Seasons.
Jason picked Awkward: Seasons 1 & 2 and New Girl: The Complete Second Season. Enter to win New Girl Season 2 on DVD over at before Tuesday, October 15th.
Rae suggested that you save your money for Psych: The Complete Seventh Season next week.

The difference between the Awkward TV-on-DVD releases is that the previous Season 1 only release was one of those Amazon MOD (Manufacture on Demand) releases while this new season 1 & 2 set is the first retail release for the show.
