I agree with both Jason and Myles about the Suburgatory product placement. I agree with Jason that it was better than most, with them not saying/showing product name or having things like “hey, look at this park assist feature”. I only knew it was Microsoft because you could see a glimpse of that awful Windows 8 OS in one scene.

However, I also agree with Myles in that it felt so forced and out of character and didn’t deserve to be a story in itself. I found it way more believable with Phil and his iPad–and I think Tess would also be more likely to use an iPad than a Surface.

I had my copy of Girls on my way by the time I listened to this. I kinda ended up loving it. I remember watching the pilot back when it started and didn’t get it. I don’t know if the hype hurt this show for alot of people? I went into it this time with a totally open mind and NO expectations and it was just fun in that this is fucked up and I am SO glad I am old now and don’t have to deal with this shit anymore kind of way. And the peeing scene and Shoshanna doing crack at the party both made me laugh out loud.
