TVx3 E064: Modern Organic Product Integration

This week Amrie, Jason, and Rae were all back together again. We kicked the episode off discussing a few recent TV related news items that included FOX canceling 24, FOX scheduling the Glee return at an odd time, FOX finally canceling ‘Til Death, CBS’ possible Criminal Minds spin-off, Showtime announcing third season renewals of Nurse Jackie and United States of Tara, HBO renewing The Ricky Gervais Show, USA announcing summer premiere dates, the Charlie Sheen and Two and a Half Men situation, and ABC renewing Castle for a third season.

Then, we talked a little Primetime that included Survivors S.1, the few episodes of The Amazing Race, Chuck S.3 Ep.11 & Ep.12, Greek S.3 Ep.19 & Ep.20, the season finale, Lost S.6 Ep.9 & Ep.10, Modern Family S.1 Ep.18 & Ep.19, which included a discussion of the iPad product integration, and The Vampire Diaries S.1 Ep.15 & 16.

Lastly, Jason gave an update on his progress on watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel through for the first time. He was almost finished.

    I am not done yet but if I don’t ask, I will forget…what is the Survivors show you were talking about? Is that BBCA? It sounds cool.

    Ugh, I started to watch the show when it premiered two years ago, then i pushed it off, and it started airing here and I missed the premiere soo pushed it off again, but now its over and I guess I am kinda bummed.

    I hope the ending is decent, but i am not holding my breath :( stupid BBC1 LOL.

    Anyways can’t wait till episode 65!

    Also @A/J – I just listened to TvTalk because of you two! ……Tvx3 is sooo much better, but hey i get an extra dose of J/A so it’s all good :)

    Patty, Yes, Survivors has been playing here on BBC America. But, unfortunately, as Johnathon mentions in the comment after yours, It has been canceled after two seasons.

    Well, it looks like I need to reinstate my netflix subscription so I can watch Survivors. It sounds really interesting.

    Patty, Seasons 1 and 2 of Survivors will be available on Netflix as of 4.27.2010, as will the three seasons of the original 1975 series.
