This week we talked about online TV show counterparts, blogs, sites, online games, etc. after getting a couple of similar themed emails. Listener Shayne asked:
You three are very plugged in to the TV online universe: What are your favorite official show web sites/ARGs; fan sites, blogs, forums, pedias, podcasts, twitter feeds, facebook aps, etc.
And listener Nathan wanted to know:
I think it would be a great topic to talk about how these online counterparts to shows affect the show and are they worth it? I am talking about things like Harper’s Globe for Harper’s Island or the online LOST games that take people thru sites and such. Are they a good thing? Love to hear the topic discussed! Thanks!
So, we did are best to discus them on the podcast.
But, first we chatted about a couple of news items including Sci Fi Channel changing its name to Syfy and the announcement of Maura Tierney’s medical situation and how that has affected her new show Parenthood.
