TVx3 E026: It’s Not You, It’s the Show. Or, Is it?

This week, Rae was off camping, so Amrie and Jason had on a guest host to talk about the week in TV. Myles McNutt from Cultural Learnings and the new McNuttCast joined us for what turned out to be a rather lengthy, but really fun, discussion.

We started things off with some news about Kings, The Tudors, Army Wives, Project Runway, the SAG negotiations, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, and The New Adventures of Old Christine.

Then we moved on to the topic of TV shows in decline and whether they actually are or we just think they are. Shows discussed included Grey’s Anatomy, The Office, and Heroes.

After talking show declines, we moved on to our primetime wrap-up, where we talked about Chuck, Greek, Fringe, My Boys, The Office, Parks & Recreation, and 30 Rock.

Next time all three of us will be back together again and we’d like to hear from you. So, if you’ve got thoughts on past episodes, this episode, or have a topic suggestion for us, use the SnapVine widget in the right column, leave a comment below, email us, or connect via Twitter.

  3. The Office is NOT in decline IMHO, it has been on a roll lately.

  4. Ron, I would agree. The Michael Scott Paper Company arc has been one of the best of the series, mostly because of how it wrapped up over the last couple.
