TVx3 E020: Lightning in a Bottle
This week we’re talking about the shows that come out of nowhere each season and surprise us by becoming huge hits. We try to dissect what several of these shows have had in common but all agree that there’s no surefire formula at work. We briefly touch on some of the latest TV news and then move on to our usual primetime talk. Amrie and Rae quickly make their Amazing Race bets and then the focus is on shows we’ve been ignoring lately like The L Word, Heroes, Life, Bones, Grey’s Anatomy, Friday Night Lights, and Dollhouse.
